The Holga 120CFN
is the world famous cult favorite with a fanatical global following. The Holga produces extraordinary low-tech works of art with the bare minimum of mechanical function. Soft focusing, full double-exposure capability, intense vignetting, and unpredictable light leaks: Each Holga is unique and produces signature images and peculiarities of its own.
The Holga 120CFN has a spinning wheel on top that flips between flash filters:
Blue, Yellow, Red or normal White.
Features:
Multiple exposure capability. Standard tripod mount (1/4 - 20). Bulb exposure selector for extra long exposures. Two
plastic masks are included to facilitate smooth film transport in either 6x4.5cm or 6x6cm formats. Also, no more broken fingernails the format arrow on the back of the camera easily slides between 12 and 16 exposures.
The new Color Flash is a built in flash which contains a spinning color filter wheel. Choose from red, yellow, blue, standard white or a combination thereof. Use the flash day or night to manipulate your images with
vibrant colors.
The original Holga 120 camera
was designed in 1982 by T. M. Lee in Hong Kong. Built to provide an inexpensive camera for working-class. Some western photographers took to using the Holga for its surrealistic, impressionistic scenes for landscape, still life, portrait, and especially, street photography. In this respect, the Holga became the successor to the Diana and other toy cameras previously used in such work. A Holga photograph by David Burnett of former vice-president Al Gore during a campaign appearance earned a top prize in a 2001 White House News Photographers' Association Eyes of History award ceremony.
